Our Programs / Math Masters

Master the art of math.

Advanced problem solving in a community of young mathematicians. For upper elementary and middle school students who love a challenge.

A community of young mathematicians

The Math Master Program brings together talented and passionate young mathematicians who share a love for solving challenging problems. Beyond preparing students for mathematics competitions, the program creates a supportive community where like-minded learners inspire one another, exchange ideas, and grow together.

Program goals

1. Building a community of young mathematicians

We believe that talented young mathematicians thrive when they are surrounded by peers who share their passion for solving challenging problems. By bringing together dedicated students who excel in mathematical thinking, we help them:

  • Connect with like-minded peers: meet other students who share their passion for exploring challenging mathematical ideas and problem solving.
  • Find inspiration and belonging: be part of an environment where mathematical curiosity is valued, celebrated, and encouraged.
  • Grow through shared passion: experience the excitement of pursuing mathematics alongside others who appreciate the beauty and creativity of the subject.

2. Creating an environment for advanced mathematical thinking

The program provides a focused environment where students have the time, space, and support to develop as advanced mathematical thinkers. We believe meaningful mathematical growth happens through both individual exploration and thoughtful discussion with peers.

  • Develop deep problem-solving skills: engage with challenging problems that require creativity, persistence, and careful reasoning beyond routine methods.
  • Think independently: learn to explore ideas, test approaches, and develop solutions through focused individual thinking.
  • Learn through mathematical discussion: share perspectives, analyze different approaches, and deepen understanding through discussions with peers.

Program levels and recommended prerequisites

The recommended qualifications below are intended to help students identify an appropriate starting point. Placement is based on overall mathematical readiness, not solely on competition scores. Math Inspires Lives reserves the right to recommend a different level or adjust the suggested qualification when appropriate.
